Highlights

Hero Wars: Alliance is a top-10 mobile RPG of the years 2022 and onwards, attracting multiple millions of monthly active users. In July 2025, the game added a new game mode, Eternal Frontier, that added an infinite campaign with scalable difficulty and rewards.

This was a big opportunity to hype up our community, as this new game mode is a big net positive for players. We cooked up an action plan:

  1. Social media posts that focus on different positive aspects of the game mode.
  2. Community work through influencers and fan-hosted giveaways.
  3. A separate livestream that focuses just on the feature.

The eternal 8-hour-long livestream included:

  1. Showing a trailer for the mode.
  2. Playing the new game mode.
  3. Showing 8 different spoilers or behind-the-scenes bits.
  4. Doing 8 giveaways.
  5. Guest appearances of prominent members of our community.
  6. Talking to chat, keeping the spirits high—classic livestream work.

Most importantly, it was very fun to watch and co-host!
